Spirit Wear Guidelines
Spirit Wear Days are a privilege and are designed to help the community celebrate being a CCA Cougar. Students who do not comply with the following expectations will be sent to the office and required to call home. They will lose the privilege of wearing spirit clothing and may need a regular uniform brought to them before they will be allowed in class. Students who do not wish to participate or are ineligible* must wear a regular uniform option.
- Clothing items must represent CCA with official uniform and spirit colors only (including royal blue, navy blue, black, orange, white, and gray). Khaki and denim are also permitted.
- We expect clothing that upholds uniform standards and demonstrates modesty, school spirit, and respect for our school community.
- No bare midriffs, tank tops, spaghetti straps, or tight/form-fitting shirts
- Shorts and skirts must be no shorter than 4” above the knee
- Pants/jeans may not have rips above the knee; waistband must sit at the natural waistline
- No tight/form-fitting joggers or leggings; no pajama pants; loose-fitted joggers are permitted
- Shoes must be safe and comfortable for participation in school day activities. Students may wear athletic shoes or other approved footwear, including cowboy boots. House shoes/slippers are NOT permitted. ]
- EC-6th: Students may NOT wear flip flops or sandals/open-toed shoes.
- 7th-12th: Students may wear sandals/open-toed shoes.
- No tutus or other costume-like clothing items are permitted (exception: Homecoming Extreme Spirit Wear Days)
- EC/ELEM: Girls may wear CCA cheerleading uniforms
